About the Neutrogena Refund

Adapted from information on the Neutrogena website.
Today, I noticed an ad with a special offer to save money on Neutrogena products if I clicked a link and signed up on their website. I clicked the link, but try as I might I could not find any information about getting the coupon for money off Neutrogena products either on the website or on their Facebook page. In fact, their Facebook page hasn't been updated in ages!.
While I could not find the information to share with you about the coupon off Neutrogena products, I did discover, this information about a recall of a line of Neutrogena products.

Neutrogena Aerosol Sunscreen Refund - What You Need to Know

You may have noticed that specific NEUTROGENA® aerosol sunscreen products are not available where you shop in Canada. That’s because we have made the decision to voluntarily recall all lots of two NEUTROGENA® aerosol sunscreen product lines as internal testing identified low levels of benzene in some samples of these aerosol sunscreen products. The only sunscreen products impacted are aerosol products, specifically: NEUTROGENA® Beach Defense sunscreen spray; and NEUTROGENA® Ultra Sheer Body Mist sunscreen spray.

 What is Benzene?

Benzene is classified as a human carcinogen, a substance that could potentially cause cancer depending on the level and extent of exposure. Benzene is ubiquitous in the environment. Humans around the world have daily exposures indoors and outdoors from multiple sources. Benzene can be absorbed, to varying degrees, by inhalation, through the skin, and orally. Daily exposure to benzene in these sunscreen products at the levels detected in internal testing would not be expected to cause adverse health consequences.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are voluntarily recalling all lots of these specific sunscreen aerosol products. This product was distributed nationwide through a variety of retail channels.
For more questions regarding the recall, to request a refund,, or to report an adverse reaction or quality problem. please call our Consumer Care Center with questions at 1-800-458-1673.
Consumers may also request a refund by completing a form on their website.
